Hello there! We’re GPSN@UNSW, and promoting general practice to the med student masses is our specialty. Our aim is to bring general practice back onto the specialisations map, identifying it as a prime choice with it’s relaxed lifestyle and rewarding work. Among our activities this year we have student get-togethers, clinical skills nights, scholarship information evenings, careers night and surprise events! If you have any queries on what we do and how to become more involved, why not contact us via email (gpsn.unsw@gpra.org.au) or catch one of us on campus? |

GPSN congratulates UNSW member, Francesca Garnett, who has been named as the 2011 Westpac RDAA Medical Student of the Year.

GPSN’s yearly publication Aspire: A guide to general practice for medical students contains awe-inspiring articles written by people on all levels of the general practice ladder.

GPSN's clinical skills workshops offer first and second year students hands-on experience in clinical skills while also learning about GPSN.

Applications are hotly contested for the GPSN First Wave Scholarship each year. Past scholars from UNSW shared their experiences and tips.

Our launch party was spectacular fun, with a rather marvellous turn-out. After stuffing ourselves with the brilliant catering (whoever said sushi shouldn’t be at the same event as wedges?) we were treated to an inspiring talk by the wonderful Dr. Sue Britton.
