| The School of Medicine and Pharmacology is the largest School in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, and one of the largest within the University of Western Australia. Most of the staff in the four Units and CAARR research centre are located at Perth’s three metropolitan teaching hospital sites. The clinical teaching program is supervised by acknowledged leaders in medical education who have introduced modern teaching and learning innovations whilst preserving the traditional patient-centred clinical apprenticeship. |
More than 270 University of WA medical students dined on free pizza and sushi before listening to a tutorial and presentation by prominent GPs. Student ambassador Paige Tucker said the event was “exceptionally successful”.
