All students will receive a $500 stipend upon being accepted and involved in the GPSN First Wave Scholarship Program.
An initial amount of $350 is paid in good faith on commencement of the scholarship program. This will assist with any expenses associated with the placements (including travel, accommodation and food). It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that they budget expenses to allow them to complete the scholarship requirements.
The remaining stipend of $150 will be paid on return of the completed logbook to GPRA. If any student is unable to complete the scholarship program they would be required to provide a detailed brief of all expenses incurred and return any unused monies to GPRA.
Academic scholars will receive an additional $500 on completion of their scholarship and submission of the research report.
This is paid in recognition of the time and effort spent on their research project.
Western Australian students undertaking the indigenous health training (IHT) scholarship will receive an additional $250, in recognition of the remoteness of the practice location.
